Sometimes we get to shoot weddings that almost feels like you are shooting family This is such a case for the wedding of Denzell and Kathlyn Here is what John Ong, who was their photographer, has to say about their wedding:

5 years ago i shot the renewal of vows of Oscar & Marnie. I was just in my first year then. Since they were busy people, their daughter Kathlyn was the one fixing it up for them. She was just then 24 and had no boyfriend.

Last year, i received a call from her asking if i was free on Dec 19. When i replied “yes whats up?” I was surprised to know that she was already getting married.

Shooting her wedding was literally like shooting a relative. Not just because both our last names were Ong but this family was really warm & friendly. No wonder i had a hard time holding back tears as she marched down the aisle.

Mike and Cheng were such a joy to shoot! With smiles abound and the love of family and friends around them it was infectious! Cheng is an aspiring photographer and I think is considering coordinating soon also.. haha! Check out their SDE!

Fabulous, Funny and Fantastic… my words to describe these couple. They fight a lot & love a lot too. Alvin is a good friend of mine in college and i was shocked to see him in one wedding 2 years ago cause he was the one who caught the boquet. I went to him and asked “Hindi ka pa kasal?”. so thats how everything started and i literally helped these couples prepare, from booking of their suppliers to recommending a church.

Alvin has always been crazy and he had this great idea using his Parkour skills that got us excited. So with Bruno his friend doing the pre-wedding shoot, we teamed up to create what i think is a one-heaven of an on-site video.

To Alvin & Gayle my friends… I had fun during your wedding, now don’t let us down by fighting over nothing. You better review the notes you had in Before I DO.
