Separated by thousands of miles, Ernie met Joanna through a common friend who introduced them to each other via social networking site. Ernie was then working in a cruise ship while Joanna was based in Singapore. Finally meeting in 2009, the two dated for a month and since then have kept their relationship afloat with nothing more than just phone calls and internet service. For most relationships, wired communication could only hold out for too long. But when love is real, God can work miracles. And like an answered prayer, two souls finally bridged distance to share a lifetime of love, hope, and togetherness.
Hand-in-hand, Ernie and Joanna are now looking forward to a bright future as husband and wife. "By next year, we'd like to see our little angels. Twins, hopefully!" they began, "With our own business also on the way, we are hoping to finally make our home in the Philippines--together and as a family."
Genesis 31:49 It was also called Mizpah, because he said, "May the LORD keep watch between you and me when we are away from each other.
